I’m now back in Ithaca, NY (USA) and reflecting on last weekend’s La Copa Loca Marathon. I want to thank you for putting together such a truly wonderful and friendly event. I liked everything about it: The location, floor, etc, the organization, DJ’s, the facilitation of comraderie and friendships via shared meals. And all at a very reasonable registration fee. Dein Marathon im vergangenen Sommer war mein schönstes Tangoerlebnis überhaupt. Nie zuvor hat mich ein Tangoanlass so erfüllt (nein, auch die NeoTangoRave in Bremen nicht). Das ganze Wochenende war perfekt organisiert. Der Ort war superschön und die Haltung grosszügig (Ich kann immer noch kaum glauben, welch wunderbaren Brunch du aufgetischt hast). Die Menschen waren aufgeschlossen und einige Tänze werden mir immer in Erinnerung bleiben; als Führende und als Folgende. Am Sonntagabend hat mich Narcotango live in einen Tanz- und Musikrausch gespielt. Das Hostel um die Ecke war perfekt; es erlaubte mir, nach dem Tanzen gleich in mein Bett zu fallen. Nach jenem Wochenende hat es eine ganze Woche gedauert, meine Füsse abzuschwellen…🙂 Esther Zellweger, Gründerin der Neo Tango Rage in Australien
